Interview by Diario Fuerteventura The *Diario de Fuerteventura* article highlights the launch of the book *Versos, cantares y poemas que guardé en un cajón* (Verses, Songs, and Poems I Kept in a Drawer) by Ana María Guerra—a folk poet from Villaverde—as part of the “Alas de la Memoria” (Wings of Memory) project coordinated by María Sanz Esteve and Dunes Films. This project seeks to record Fuerteventura’s oral history, foster intergenerational dialogue, and create a public archive of testimonies; in this context, Ana María’s book—discovered through interviews conducted by young people such as Ciro Fernández—preserves both traditional *coplas* and *romances* (ballads) and the author’s original poems, offering a chronicle in verse of her village’s daily life and culture. Poetry and Cinema
Interview on Radio Sintonia María Sanz Esteve has been writing poetry for over 30 years without the intention of publishing, although some of her poems have appeared in anthologies featuring various authors and on the Facebook page *Poesía dispersa*.
